Wine With Decanter and Glass on White Tablecloth

I consider this to be my "breakaway" art piece. I learned so much during the painting of this work that I believe it will influence all of my future works.

I consider the tablecloth to be its own artwork, somewhat like a snowy landscape. Some of the other detail just sets off what might appear to be an almost monotone painting. There is wine condensation in the neck of the decanter. The eggshell thin Gravitas glass is wonderfully difficult to paint because the reflections create more to see.
The work took months to complete and my personal pride in it is tangible when I talk about it.
