Wine and Sushi

Pairing sushi with wine isn't all that hard, and I chose Bream Creek Sauvignon Blanc for this painting because I like to support family run wineries. The sushi I made for this painting was real and it became a wonderful lunch. The salmon is a bit darker than normal because I brushed on a honey soy glaze. Then sprinkled on chives as Chef Jamie Oliver would say "from a height". The chives bounced all around the place and became part of the painting. I enjoyed the lunch and painting the moment.
