Jugged Hare

This bottle of Hare's Chase was one of the first wine paintings where I wanted to introduce more complexity into the layout.  I went out of my way to find a chrome winged bottle opener (something my critics howled me down for).  The opener had a frosty finish to it, so I spent several days polishing off the patina to give it the chrome finish that now reflects in both the bottle and glass.
