Magpies have always been controversial. Disliked by those swooped by them, loved by those who listen to their chorus. The good old magpie integrates easily into our world and will take over outdoor areas and often insist on food. Most Aussies and visitors love them nevertheless. Of course, I love them. Their song is magnificent and unique to each individual. Their presence nearly guaranteed anywhere.
